Smart Home, Solar & Thermal Energy System
A 10 kW solar system, smart loads, a reversible heat pump and a pool used as a thermal field.
My smart-home project combines a 10 kW three-phase photovoltaic system, surplus-power management, automation and sensors for safety, comfort and energy efficiency.
A reversible heat pump is integrated with the swimming pool as a thermal field: in summer it cools the house and moves heat into the pool; in winter it can extract low-grade heat from the pool to support heating. The interesting part is not collecting gadgets, but making the energy flows work together as one system.
